In certain circumstances, and where possible, we are happy to travel to see clients in the privacy of their own homes. This can be especially beneficial to clients who have restricted mobility due to injury or illness.

Patrick McComish understands first-hand the difficulties and frustrations faced by injured workers having sustained a serious workplace injury himself prior to becoming a practicing solicitor. Facing an uncertain future, he returned to school, university and was admitted to practice law in 2000.

Sharon Colgate grew up in Warrnambool.  She commenced her legal career over 20 years ago beginning as a legal secretary, then practice manager and eventually managing partner of Brown McComish Solicitors in 2020. Sharon displayed enormous commitment with returning to study whilst raising a young family and also working full time as practice manager at Brown McComish before being admitted to practice in 2016.

Both Sharon and Pat took the unconventional path to legal practice which they believe gives them greater empathy and understanding of the difficulties faced by many people.

As a small firm, we endeavour to provide quality, cost-effective service to people in need.

We offer a free first interview for all new clients and conduct work on a no win, no fee policy (with some conditions) for most personal injury claims. This includes, where possible, funding the upfront cost of disbursements throughout the matter.
